PGA National is a planned development of 2,340 acres with 800 reserved for green space divided between parks, playgrounds, natural preserves and golf courses in the heart of Palm Beach Gardens. On the west side, 240 acres have been set aside as a preserve area with viewing pavilion to enjoy wading birds and an occasional otter or fox. PGA National is also laced with biking/cycling trails. It is built around the famous PGA National Resort & Spa and the five, championship golf courses. Currently, the PGA Tour makes a stop here in March for the Honda Classic.
The Resort & Spa features Olympic size pool, complete spa facilities, tennis courts, racquetball courts and fine restaurants.
Since it is located on PGA Boulevard, shopping in The Gardens Mall or Downtown at the Gardens is only ten minutes away, the International Airport is about twenty minutes away and the clubs in Jupiter are about ten minutes to the north.
